Halloween in Hermosa
When it comes to the holidays, the South Bay is seasoned in providing family-friendly experiences for all - whether you’re a resident of the area or just visiting to take part in all the fun. This Halloween, the planned activities are on track to be even more memorable as the South Bay continues its transition back to normalcy following the pandemic. Read on to learn about some spooky events that we recommend all of our H2O guests take advantage of over the upcoming Halloweekend.
October 29th
Hermosa Beach Carnival: Hermosa Beach City Schools is holding their annual Halloween Carnival at the Hermosa Valley School from 4-9 p.m. Attendees can anticipate carnival games, food, and even a raffle drawing event!
Manhattan Beach Police Trunk or Treat: Just south of the police headquarters on 420 15th Street, trick-or-treaters can collect candy from police and SWAT vehicles decorated for Halloween. Families can visit from 6-8:30 p.m.
October 30th
Manhattan Heights Halloween Carnival: At another South Bay Carnival, visitors can take part in games, face painting, and a haunted house at Manhattan Heights Park from 12-4 p.m.
Munchkin Masquerade at Manhattan Village: Children ages 3 to 10 and their families can trick-or-treat, make Halloween crafts, and play themed games from 2-4 p.m. at Manhattan Village.
Carrie Showing: The Hermosa Beach Museum is hosting a movie screening of Carrie at 6:30 p.m. and encourages all movie-goers to dress up in 1970’s themed costumes!
Throughout the month
Del Amo Pumpkin Patch: Bounce houses, carnival games, and quality pumpkins await at the Del Amo Pumpkin Patch in Torrance. Admission is $5 and the patch is open every day until Halloween.
Spooky Drive-In Movies: The Rooftop Cinema Club in El Segundo and The Roadium in Torrance are both hosting drive-in movie experiences with a range of films appropriate for younger audiences or adults to enjoy.
