El Porto Beach (12 minute drive from H2O Hermosa):

El Porto Beach is located just at the edge of North Manhattan Beach and is one of the most iconic surfing spots in all of Los Angeles. This is a great spot to rent a surfboard and ride the waves, or if you’re not big on shredding the gnar, you can grab a coffee and admire the surfers from the sand. People surf here at all hours, but sunrise is especially popular.

Downtown Manhattan Beach (7 minute drive from H2O Hermosa):

If a new vacation outfit is calling your name, the boutiques in Manhattan Beach are exactly what you’re looking for. California Beach Chic styles are the name of the game, and there’s no better providers than the lovely shops along Manhattan Beach Boulevard. Hungry after a long day of shopping? There are lots of lunch/dinner options to choose from before strolling down the pier to enjoy the sunset.

Hermosa Beach Pier (5 minute walk from H2O Hermosa):

The Hermosa Beach Pier is home to some of the best restaurants and bars in the entire South Bay. If you’re looking for a lively nightlife scene, this is the place! You might even recognize this popular stop from numerous movies and TV shows including La La Land, Beverly Hills 90210, and The OC, to name a few. Save this visit for a day when you’re not in the mood to drive, as it’s just a short walk from H2O Hermosa!

The Wayfarer Chapel (30 minute drive from H2O Hermosa):

The Wayfarer Chapel, or “The Glass Church,” is one of the most stunning attractions in Rancho Palos Verdes. Designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, this chapel offers panoramic views of the ocean and scenic grounds to explore.

Point Vicente Interpretive Center (33 minute drive from H2O Hermosa):

This popular whale watching spot features exhibits on the natural and cultural history of the Peninsula, with a special emphasis on the Pacific gray whale. Here, you can view its annual migration alongside experts! While you’re there, take advantage of the surrounding hiking trails to get the blood flowing after sitting in your car throughout the drive.
